Mr. Vertis Richardson

Vertis R. Richardson III was born and raised in Smithfield, NC.  After a 20 year active duty career as non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, he retired in 2015 in the rank of First Sergeant.  

 

His military awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and two Meritorious Service Medals.  During his career he served 11 out of his 20 years at Fort Bragg, NC as a logistician including deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.  He is married to his wife Anita and they have three children.
