Meet The Board

Vertis R. Richardson III was born and raised in Smithfield, NC.  After a 20 year active duty career as non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, he retired in 2015 in the rank of First Sergeant. 

Bill Dixon lives in Raleigh with his wife Merlayne.  Bill received an Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting from WW Holding before he joined the US Army serving in Vietnam.

Tami Johns is an Army Veteran who served as an Environmental Health Specialist at Fort Sam Houston and Fort Hood, TX.  

Cynthia received her B.S. in Communication Disorders at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia and M.S. of Public Health in Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Laurie graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, with a BA in Marketing and a BA in Management. Career focus has been marketing and sales in the consumer products industry for the past 40 years.
